Nina arrived in Austin to work for a new startup, Cellular One, in 1987 from Houston, and she knew immediately that Austin would be her forever home. Nina’s family was intimately involved and connected in Houston’s melting pot of the ’70s. Especially with the opening of Neiman Marcus in the Galleria and her father’s neo-geophysical oil and gas inventions and his manuscripts. Nina’s own experience working at Fred Joaillier, one of the premier jewelry salons in the world, defines the lens she understands working and thriving in luxury and philanthropy her entire life. Nina has witnessed the growth of Austin from this perspective...
